Tincture General Information
- Always shake the tincture well before use.
- A dropperful is the amount that fills the tube when the top dropper is squeezed and takes in liquid.
- The best way to take a tincture is sublingually (underneath the tongue). This provides the best absorption and allows the herbs to enter your bloodstream directly.
- If possible, hold it under your tongue for 30 seconds.
- Alcohol tinctures might not taste good (the bitter the better). Don't give up!
- If you have a sensitivity to alcohol, try the glycerin-infused tincture.
- You can also add a dropperful to your herbal tea.
- If the taste is too strong, dilute it in 1–2 ounces of water or juice.
